Today is Universal Children's Day as designated by the United Nations, and also National Child Day in Canada. We all know that children have been hard hit by the pandemic, particularly in terms of their education, play time and opportunities for socializing and developing interpersonal skills.

Right here in Ottawa at Carleton University, we have a comprehensive resource centre on children's rights named after Landon Pearson, who celebrated her 90th birthday on Monday of this week:
