Apr. 26th, 2020 10:58 amThe Stratford (Ontario) festival opened (sort of) on Thursday, April 23, which would have been Will's 456th birthday. The first play of the season to be performed was King Lear, rumoured to have been written in 1606 during the great plague.
There will be no live public performances during April or May and the remainder of the season is still in doubt. But you can still see the plays performed on video and they are coming to a computer near you! Here is a list of what will be available over the course of the season:
