I'm happy to use whatever terms people choose for themselves but personally I despise euphemism. Like I'll still describe myself as mad or crazy—I understand why other people don't like it, but I feel like by erasing these words from the language, we lose a lot of texture. And don't get me started on person-first language; I despise it.

My current bete noir is houselessness instead of homelessness. Like, who gives a fuck. That has never saved a single person in an encampment.
