Short answer: Yes, fewer pregnancies is a good thing. The underlying and most important issue of the global climate problem is that there are already way too many people on the planet. This causes "solutions" to issues that are unwise choices and cause new and further problems that, in turn, lead to more climate deteriorations. The Capitalistic focus on "continued growth" is actively making this whole thing worse. It's unsustainable. But, that said, it's also specifically referring to those pregnancies that are unwanted.

Point 2: Nope. It's not that "alcohol CAN be toxic." Alcohol IS toxic. Small doses can be (mostly) shrugged off as the critical thing for damage from a toxin is dosage. Much of what we consider 'proper' is from having been effectively indoctrinated. Given: people like self medicating with various mind-alternating substances. That doesn't make it non-toxic. I used to close down the bar 4-6 days a week, but back then, i'd work it off doing construction every day. Now, i'm older and it's been a long time since i've even had a drink. Being retired is good. #smile I'm an advocate of not boozing, but also know that trying to mess with people about their choices isn't a social thing to do. The only reason i'm posting this is because i think it's a good thing to get people to be aware of things. I won't continue unless you wish me to.

Peace, and you do you.
