I work with kids, and I'm constantly reminded of how much easier we had it. Sure, jobs are plentiful (I'm late GenX and there was nothing when I graduated) but there's no stability or prospect of pensions or benefits or home ownership or anything like that.

Makes me sad to think of the Boomers dying off, though, because my mom and a lot of my older friends are Boomers. Also even though I'm at the age where a lot of my friends are starting to die off too, it doesn't feel great not having several generations of padding between me and the oldest one.
